[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 10월 20일 캠코 서울서부지역본부는 의정부시자원봉사센터에서 이용걸 (사)의정부시자원봉사센터 이사장과 ｢투명한 기부 문화 조성을 위한 청렴서약서｣를 작성하고, 지역발전 기부금 200만원을 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 지난해 캠코와 의정부시 협력기관들 간 체결한 ｢지역사회 발전 및 코로나19 위기극복 지원을 위한 업무협약｣의 일환으로, 코로나19로 장기화로 어려움이 커진 지역 내 저소득층, 다문화가정 등 취약계층 지원을 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

특히, 캠코는 기부금 전달과 함께 의정부시자원봉사센터와 투명한 기부 문화 조성을 위한 청렴서약서를 작성해, 지역사회 반부패·청렴문화 확산과 청렴 생태계 조성을 위한 의지도 다졌다고 전했다. 

김용훈 캠코 서울서부지역본부장은 “코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역사회 이웃들에게 작으나마 도움이 될 수 있길 바란다”며, “캠코는 투명하고 공정한 기부 문화 조성을 통해 국민에게 신뢰받고 지역사회와 지속적으로 소통하는 공공기관이 될 것”이라고 말했다.

한편, 캠코 서울서부지역본부는 지난해부터 의정부 지역 어려운 이웃들을 위해 ‘따봉배추(따뜻한 봉사자가 심은 배추) 김장나누기’, ‘따봉감자(따뜻한 봉사자가 심은 감자) 키움’ 프로젝트를 기획해, 김치 2천 포기, 감자 144박스를 기부하는 등 코로나 19 극복 지원과 함께 나눔 활동을 이어 오고 있다고 밝혔다.
