[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 국가 및 지방자치단체에서는 청소년복지 지원법 제14조(위기청소년 특별지원)에 따라 사회경제적으로 어려움이 있는 위기청소년 및 학교 밖 청소년들에게 생활비, 치료비, 학업지원비 등을 지원하고 있다.

지원대상은 보호자가 없거나 실질적으로 보호자의 보호를 받지 못하는 청소년, 「학교 밖 청소년 지원에 관한 법률」 제2조 제2호에 따른 학교 밖 청소년 그리고 비행‧일탈 예방을 위해 지원이 필요한 만9세 이상 만24세 이하의 위기청소년들이다.

지원을 받기 위해서는 6개 읍·면 행정복지센터에 방문하거나 복지로 누리집에서 온라인 신청을 해야 하며, 연중 접수가 가능하나, 2022년 하반기에 지원을 받으려면 오는 9월 8일까지 신청을 해야한다.

민혜숙 가평군청소년상담복지센터장은 “가평군청소년상담복지센터는 연계기관들 간의 상호협력과 정보공유를 통해 현장 중심의 지원과 맞춤형 서비스 지원으로 위기(가능)청소년에 대한 사회적 책임과 공감대 형성에 앞장서겠다 ”라고 말했다.

여성가족부와 가평군이 지원하는 가평군청소년상담복지센터는 한국스카우트연맹이 위탁운영하고 있으며 청소년 및 학부모 개인상담, 집단상담, 심리검사 및 다양한 교육서비스를 제공하고 있다. 

또한 청소년 안전망을 통해 위기청소년에게 통합적인 서비스를 지원하고 있으며, 학교 밖 청소년에게 학업복귀, 자립지원, 사회진입, 건강검진, 정서지원 등의 1:1 맞춤서비스를 함께 지원하고 있다.
