[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시정신건강복지센터와 포천지역자활센터는 지난 10일, 정신장애인의 취업지원 등 사회적응 향상을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에서는 ▶정신장애인의 취업 및 창업의 기회 제공 ▶정신장애인의 근로 환경 조성 ▶정신장애인의 맞춤형 상담서비스 제공 ▶정신장애의 인식개선 및 정신건강증진 목적의 행정적·학술적 협업 등 정신장애인의 안정적인 사회 복귀를 위해 협력하기로 뜻을 모았다.

김인호 센터장은 “정신보건 영역이 중요시되고 있다. 정신장애인의 잠재된 인력을 개발하고, 서로 긴밀한 상호협력을 통해 정신장애인의 사회적응 향상 등 서비스 교류 증진에 적극 동참하겠다.”고 전했다.

한편, 포천시정신건강복지센터는 지난 2020년 포천시에서 일심재단 우리병원으로 위탁해 운영하고 있으며, 포천시민의 정신건강증진과 자살예방, 중증정신질환자들의 사회통합을 도모하는 다양한 지역사회 정신건강사업을 수행하고 있다.
