이날 제278회 정선군의회 임시회 일정을 오는 1월 19일부터 27일까지 9일간 개최하기로 결정했으며, 회기 및 의사일정 결정의 건, 특별위원회 구성 결의안 등을 비롯해 2022년도 군정 주요업무계획에 대해 청취할 계획이며, 간담회에서는 제278회 정선군의회 임시회 일정 및 2022년도 연간 회기 운영계획안, 조례 및 규칙 등 의원발의 자치법규에 대한 논의가 진행되었다고 했다.

또한 이날 조현화 부의장이 대표발의한 '정선군 장기요양원 처우개선 및 지위향상에 관한 조례안', '정선군 빈집 정비 및 활용에 관한 조례안을 비롯한 정선군의회 의원들이 일관발의안', '정선군 주민조례발안에 관한 조례안', '정선군의회 지방공무원 여비 조례 일부개정조례안', '정선군의회 의원 윤리강영 및 윤리실천규범 등에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안', '정선군의회 위원회 조례 전부개정조례안', '정선군의회 인사위원회 운영 규칙안', '정선군의회 윤리특별위원회 구성 및 운영' 등에 관한 규칙안 등에 대해  심도있는 논의가 진행되었다고 전했다.
