[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 정선군은 매년 반복되는 가뭄으로 인한 영농불편 해소와 농가소득 증대를 위해 가뭄극복을 위한 농업재해대책을 적극 추진한다고 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 겨우내 평균 누적 강수량과 적설량이 평년 수준과 비슷하여 가뭄이 지속적으로 이어질 것으로 예상하고 있는 가운데 농업기술센터에 농업재해대책상황실을 설치 운영하고 부서간 유기적인 협력체계 유지로 가뭄상황 파악·분석 및 모니터링으로 가뭄지역 비상용수 공급 및 인력·기술·장비 지원 등을 신속하게 지원한다고 했다.

군은 안정적인 농업용수 확보 및 공급 등 극심한 가뭄 극복을 위하여 체계적이고 실질적인 근본적인 대책을 마련하고 전략적 집중 투자와 사업을 추진하고 있으며, 또한 정선소방서·정선국토관리사무소·군부대 등 유관기관과의 협조체계 구축 등으로 체계적인 가뭄극복 대책 마련해 나갈 계획이라고 전했다.
