[김택곤 기자=정선군] 아리랑 유네스코 인류무형문화유산 등재 10주년을 맞아 정선에서 다채로운 기념행사가 열렸다.

아리랑센터서 “정선아리랑! 인류의 희망을 노래하다”라는 주제로 목향 정광옥 서예가의 전시회가 5일 시작해 15일까지 열리고 있으며, 정광옥 작가가 평생 올곧은 마음으로 정선아리랑 가사만 고집하면서 쓴 국민들에게 기쁨과 즐거움, 희망을 전달하는 정선아리랑 작품 47점을 만나볼 수 있다.

또한 정선아리랑 가사로 널리 알려진 여량 아우라지에서는 국내 아리랑비 증 가장 큰 “아리랑비 제막식”이 개최되었다.

이날 제막식을 갖은 아리랑비는 높이 5.5m 비문 폭 1.48m 두께 0.83m의 화강암 자연석으로 정선군과 사단법인 아리랑연합회가 공동 발의하고 국내·외 40개 아리랑 전승단체가 자발적 뜻을 모아 건립하게 되었으며, 아리랑의 창조적 계승을 승화시키고 아리랑 유네스코 인류무형문화유산 등재 10주년을 기념하기 위한 퍼포먼스가 진행되었다.

아리랑센터에서는 “아리랑은 한민족의 치유와 희망!”이라는 주제로 2018 평창동계올림픽 개막공연에서 정선아리랑을 열창한 김남기 보유자 선생님과 2012년 프랑스 파리에서 열린 제7차 무형유산위원회 심사무대에서‘아리랑’유네스코 인류무형유산 등재를 이끈 소리꾼 이춘희 명창의 소리 공연이 진행되었다.

또한 아리랑과 특별한 인연을 맺어온 양방언, 나윤선, 남상일 소리꾼의 공연과 함께 정선군립아리랑예술단의 정선아리랑 공연, 밀양아리랑 등 다양한 공연이 진행되어 관람객들에게 많은 호응을 얻었다.
