[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선아리랑을 현대적 트랜드에 맞게 재해석한 신개념 뮤지컬 퍼포먼스 '아리 아라리' 공연이 세계3대 공연축제중 하나인 호주 애들레이드 프린지 페스티벌에 참가한다.

호주 애들레이드 프린지 페스티벌은 오는 3월 6일부터 19일까지 호주 애드레이드 아츠 씨어터 공연장에서 개최되며, 아티스트 5,800여개 단체가 참여하고 1,200여개의 공연이 진행된다.

군은 아리랑의 유네스코 인류무형문화유산 등재 10주년을 맞이하여 글로벌 문화콘텐츠의 중심인 K-Culture 확대와 세계속 문화로서의 아리랑 가치 제고를 위해 뮤지컬 퍼포먼스 '아리 아라리'해외공연을 추진하게 되었다.

정선아리랑이 2018 동계올림픽 개막공연에서 70억 세계인들에게 감동을 선사하며 새롭게 주목을 받은데 이어 정선아리랑을 주제로 한 이번 해외공연은 축제기간동안 7회를 공연하게되며, 세계인들에게 음악, 무용, 타악, 노래, 연희, 영상 등의 다양한 장르가 혼합된 시청각적인 즐거움을 극대화한 소리 중심의 정선아리랑 공연이 아닌 보고, 듣고, 느낄 수 있는 새로운 감동과 흥을 선사할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
