[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 19일 오전 11시, 정선군의회는 정선군의회 본회의장에서 임인년 새해 첫 회기인 '제278회 정선군의회 임시회'를 개회하고 본격적인 의정활동에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

1월 19일부터 오는 1월 27일까지 9일간의 일정으로 진행되는 이번 임시회는 군 집행부 21개 부서와 출연기관인 정선군시설관리공단과 정선아리랑문화재단에 대한 2021년도 행정사무감사 결과보고 조치와 2022년도 군정 주요업무계획에 대하여 보고를 받으며, 또한 조현화 부의장 대표발의한 '정선군 장기요양요원 처우개선 및 지위향상에 관한 조례안'과 '정선군 빈집 정비 지원 및 활용에 관한 조례안'을 포함한 9건의 조례안과 2건의 규칙안, 정선군수로부터 제출된 '전통시장 고객지원센터(상인회관) 운영관리 민간위탁동의안'에 대하여 심의 의결한다고 했다. 

전흥표 정선군의회 의장은 "코로나19를 극복하고 새로운 도전으로 반등을 꾀하여야 하는 중요한 한 해인 만큼 주요업무계획 청취 등을 통해 군민 모두가 행복한 정선을 위한 부서별 각종 사업들에 대한 현황을 면밀하게 파악하여 군민들의 목소리를 대변할 수 있는 의정활동을 적극 펼쳐 나가겠다"고 말했다.
