[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군농업인단체협의회 지난 5월 4일부터 6월 23일까지, 탄소중립 실천 결의대회 및 다시 걷고 싶은 시골길 가꾸기 행사를 개최하였다고 밝혔다. 

탄소중립 실천 결의대회는 가평군농업기술센터와 가평군농업인단체협의회가 2050 탄소중립 운동을 선도적 실천해 ‘지속가능한 우리 농업·농촌 만들기’에 앞장서고자 마련됐다.

또한, 가평군농업인단체협의회는 코로나 펜데믹으로 각종 사회활동과 교류행사가 제한되면서 사회분위기 전반이 위축되어 경제적, 정서적으로 어려운 시대에 가평군 곳곳에 희망을 열어가는 마음으로 읍면 농업인단체 및 지역주민과 협력하여 지역분위기를 활성화하기 위하여 아름답고 다시 걷고 싶은 시골 명소길 조성사업을 추진하였다.

이번 명소길 조성사업에 수국, 하늘바라기 등 2종의 꽃을 가평읍, 조종면, 북면 3개소에 약 4,400여본의 꽃묘를 식재하였다. 

가평군농업인단체협의회 김세경 회장은 “새로운 희망을 열어가는 마음으로 농업인단체 및 지역주민과 협력하여 코로나 이후 지역분위기를 활성화하기 위해 이번 행사를 계획하게 되었다. 관광객들과 지역주민이 산책하기 좋은 아름다운 꽃길, 시골길이 조성되었으면 좋겠다”라며, “향후에도 지역분위기를 활성화하기 위해 농업인단체협의회가 다양한 방안들을 회원들과 고민하고 모색할 계획” 이라고 말했다.
