[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 14일부터 28일까지 양주시는 ‘2022년 학생승마교실’에 참여할 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

학생승마교실은 관내 학생들에게 승마체험 기회를 제공하고 승마산업 활성화, 승마인구 저변확대를 위해 마련했다고 전했다.

관내 초·중·고등학교에 재학 중인 학생을 대상으로 총 630명을 모집하며 지역 내 유소년 전문인증 승마장에서 말 끌기, 말타기 등 총 10회에 걸친 교육을 실시한다고 했다.

양주시는 학생들의 문화체험 활성화를 위해 1인당 32만원이 소요되는 체험비용의 70%를 지원하며 참가학생은 체험비의 30%인 96,000원만 부담하면 되고, 교육 참여를 희망하는 학생은 경기도 학생승마체험 예약시스템에서 온라인으로 신청하면 된다고 전했다.

단, 신청자가 초과할 시 무작위 배정을 통해 대상자 선발이 이뤄지며, 기타 자세한 궁금한 사항은 양주시 축산과 축산정책팀으로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 전했다.
