[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시 고읍도서관은 오는 3월 개강하는 북큐레이션 연계프로그램 ‘도서관 옆 미술관’에 참여할 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

‘도서관 옆 미술관’은 시민들이 도서관에서 그림책과 미술작품을 함께 감상하며 부담없이 책과 예술을 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 문화예술 프로그램으로 성인과 아동을 대상으로 하는 강좌로 구성됐다고 했다.

‘도서관 옆 미술관’는 표유진 그림책숲 대표가 강사로 나서 그림책 속 화가의 삶과 명화에 숨겨져있던 이야기를 풀어내며 오는 3월 8일부터 29일까지 매주 화요일 총 4회에 걸쳐 진행된다고 했다.

또한 4~7세 유아동을 위한 ‘그림책과 꼼지락 미술놀이’는 오늘 3월 19일과 26일 두 차례에 걸쳐 진행하며 임상미술전문가 이세정 강사가 그림책을 활용한 다양한 놀이를 선보이며 독서의 중요성과 연령별 발달에 따른 책 읽기 방법 등을 전수할 예정이라고 했다.

이번 북큐레이션 연계프로그램은 온라인 화상회의 플랫폼 줌(zoom)을 이용한 비대면 강좌로 운영되며 참여를 희망하는 시민은 양주시도서관 홈페이지에서 온라인으로 접수하면 된다고 했다.

양주시 관계자는 “책과 예술을 통해 마음의 양식을 쌓고 독서를 가까이 하는 습관을 갖게 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편 고읍도서관은 매월 전문 사서가 특정한 주제에 맞는 여러 책을 선별하는 북큐레이팅을 통해 양질의 정보를 제공하고 독서의 즐거움을 더하는 북큐레이션 연계프로그램을 운영 중이라고 전했다.
