[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 2일부터 원주시 학습관은 평생학습 배달강좌 1기 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

평생학습 배달강좌는 시민이 7~10인 이내 학습단체를 구성해 원하는 강좌와 장소를 신청하면 강사가 직접 방문해 강좌를 진행하는 서비스라고 했다.

신청 가능한 강좌는 요가, 가죽공예, 서예, 통기타, 영어회화, 스마트폰 사용, 유튜브 제작 등으로 다양하며, 협의를 통해 원하는 강좌를 새로 개설할 수도 있다고 했다.

오는 3월 2일부터 18일까지 원주시 홈페이지 공고란에서 신청서를 내려받아 전자우편 또는 방문 신청하면 된다고 전했다.

이번 배달강좌는 총 15개 단체를 선정하며 이 중 4개 단체는 노인, 장애인 등 교육 취약계층에 우선 배정하고, 4월 1일부터 8주 과정으로 진행된다고 했다.

한편, 작년에는 배달강좌를 통해 38개 모임 총 386명의 수강생이 참여했으며, 이 중 9개 강좌가 장애인 등 취약계층을 대상으로 운영됐다고 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “앞으로도 수요자 중심의 학습체계를 갖출 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
