군은 오는 3월부터 10월까지, 농어촌 정비법에 따라 신고된 1년 이상 실거주 농어촌 민박 사업자 중 20곳을 대상으로 설치사업을 진행하며, 설치되는 소방안전시설은 소화기, 단독 경보형 감지기, 휴대용 비상조명, 유도표지 및 피난구 유도등, 완강기, 일산화탄소 경보기, 가스누설 경보기, 자동확산 소화기 등이라고 했다. 

소독 스프레이, 비접촉식 체온계, 손소독제 등 코로나19 방역장비는 소방안전시설 설치를 완료한 사업장에 한해 예산범위 내에서 지원이 이뤄지며, 총사업비 최대 50만원 중 70%인 35만원까지 보조되고, 총 사업비 50만원을 초과하는 초과분은 사업자 부담이라고 했다. 

이 사업은 농어촌민박 시설환경 개선사업과 중복지원이 가능하며, 다만, 농어촌 정비법에 따른 농어촌 민박 규모와 시설기준에 부적합할 경우, 농어촌 민박 사업장으로 신고 또는 변경신고하지 않고, 신축이나 증축, 구조변경을 한 경우, 실제 업주가 미거주하는 경우, 신고필증과 요금표를 게시하지 않은 경우 지원에서 배제되고, 보조금 지원 사업자는 농업일반·유통가공 분과위원회 심의를 거쳐 선정되며, 선정 후 2년 이상 해당 영업을 유지해야 한다고 전했다.
