[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 21일, 동두천시 보산동행정복지센터는 시민들의 휴식공간과 무더위 쉼터 역할을 해오고 있는 팔각정과 정자를 보수하고 오일스테인 도색을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 동두천시에서 진행하는 2022년 발전소주변지역 기본 지원사업비로 추진됐고, 보산동 행정복지센터 조경지 내에 있는 팔각정, 정자 등은 낡고 보수가 필요한 상황이며, 팔각정은 파손된 부분을 정비하고 오일스테인 도색을 실시해 쾌적하게 변모되었으며 주변 정자, 의자 또한 작업했다고 전했다.

여운성 보산동장은 “주민 편의시설을 지속적으로 관리해‘아름다운 보산 만들기’에 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
