[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 신년 새해와 설 연휴 등을 맞아 동절기 농어촌관광시설 이용객 증가로 인한 코로나-19 재확산 방지 및 시설물 안전에 대비하여 농어촌민박 및 관광농원ˑ농촌체험 휴양마을을 대상으로 2023년 2월 24일까지 점검을 실시할 계획이라고 3일 밝혔다. 

현재 가평군 농어촌민박은 1,096개소이며 관광농원은 3개소와 농촌체험 휴양마을은 14개로 매년 주기적으로 점검을 실시하고 있다. 

주요 점검 사항은 코로나-19 재확산 방지를 위한 예약 인원 준수, 운영자 실거주 여부 확인 등 농어촌민박사업자 준수사항과 주요 시설물 정기점검 실시 여부, 안전관리 상태 및 위생상태 등을 확인할 예정이며 이에 따라 부적절한 사항 및 위반 사항이 적발될 시 현장에서 즉시 조치하도록 권고하는 등 안전점검에 나선다.

'농어촌정비법'에 따르면 농어촌민박은 지역 주민이 운영할 수 있으며 실거주를 원칙으로 하며, 또한, 주택 연면적이 230㎡를 넘지 않아야 한다. 그러나 정당한 사유 없이 1년 이상 운영을 하지 않거나 변경 신고 없이 증축을 하여 운영을 하는 경우가 많아 이를 중점적으로 점검할 예정이며 적발될 시, 사업장 폐쇄 명령 등 행정 조치를 취할 예정이다. 

가평군에서는 전기·가스 화재 등 각종 사고를 예방하고 농어촌민박 및 농촌관광시설을 이용하는 관광객들이 안전하고 편안하게 이용할 수 있도록 주기적으로 안전점검을 실시하여 안전사고에 대한 경각심과 예방 효과를 높여 나갈 계획이다.
