[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 2일부터 3일까지 양일간 의정부시 가재울도서관은 소장자료 장서점검을 위해 휴관한다고 밝혔다.

가재울도서관은 도서관 설치 및 운영에 관한 조례 시행규칙에 따라 2년마다 장서점검을 실시하고 있다고 했다.

장서점검은 소장목록과 실제 도서를 대조해 소재 불분명한 자료를 파악하고 파·오손 도서 보수 및 이용가치를 상실한 도서를 선별하는 작업이며, 장서점검 후에는 소장자료의 정확한 정리 및 파악이 원활해 시민들의 도서관 이용이 편리해질 것으로 기대된다고 전했다.

장서점검 기간 동안 임시휴관으로 인해 가재울도서관 도서열람·대출·예약·상호대차 서비스 이용은 중단되지만, 무인기계를 통한 도서반납과 예약도서 대출은 이용 가능하고, 자세한 내용은 가재울도서관으로 전화 또는 홈페이지에 문의하면 된다고 밝혔다.
