[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 19일 포천시는 2022년도 살림규모로 8,960억원을 편성해 예산안을 시의회에 제출했다고 밝혔다. 

이는 올해 본예산 8,191억원보다 769억원(9.4%) 증가한 규모로 포천시가 제출한 예산안을 살펴보면 일반회계는 총 8,035억원으로, 주요 세입재원으로 지방세 1,445억원, 세외수입 373억원, 순세계잉여금 185억원 등 자체재원 2,003억원과 지방교부세 및 국·도비 보조금 등 의존재원 6,032억원을 편성했다고 전했다.

내년도 예산안은 코로나19로 침체된 지역경제 개선과 함께 일자리 확대, 복지 증진 등 시민들이 바로 체감할 수 있는 재정투자 사업에 중점을 뒀고, 특히 주민의견을 반영한 주민참여예산제로 ‘설운천 산책로 조명설치 사업’ 등 올해보다 4억 1,900만원이 증가한 총 5억 8,600만원을 편성해 주민참여 확대를 도모했다고 했다.

박윤국 시장은 “포천시는 올해 전 시민에게 2차례에 걸쳐 재난기본소득을 지급하고도 효율적인 재정운영을 통해 ‘채무 제로(0) 도시’로 위상을 높였다.”라며 “본예산안이 확정되는 대로 시민들과 약속한 주요 사업들을 최대한 신속하게 추진하여 지역경제 활성화에 마중물이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

오는 12월 14일까지 이번 본예산안은 열리는 예산결산특별위원회에서 세부적인 예산심의가 이루어지며, 12월 16일 본회의를 통해 최종 확정된다고 밝혔다.
