[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 18일 14시, 지역사회를 기반으로 학생들이 다양한 스포츠를 즐기고 진로개척 및 평생건강습관을 형성할 수 있도록 의정부시체육회에서는 의정부체력인증센터에서 2022년 상반기 G-스포츠클럽 운영위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의에서는 G-스포츠클럽 현황보고에 이어 운영방침으로 사설스포츠시설 대관 가능여부 건, 종목별 선수정원 및 지도자 채용인원 건 등 총 7개 안건을 상정하여 심의·의결하였고, 이날 참석한 위원들은 의정부 G-스포츠클럽 운영의 활성화 및 구체적인 운영방침을 정하기 위해 다양한 의견을 제시했다고 전했다.

G-스포츠클럽 운영위원회는 의정부시체육회 사무국장, 의정부시청 체육분야 담당 공무원, 의정부교육지원청 장학사, 노무사, 학부모 등 모두 8명으로 구성하였으며 경기도교육청 장학사가 자문위원으로 배석하였다고 했다.

의정부시체육회 이명철 회장은 “G-스포츠클럽 운영위원회를 통하여 구체적인 운영방침이 필요한 상황에서 좋은 의견과 대안이 많이 나와 의정부 G-스포츠클럽이 한 단계 도약하는 계기가 되기를 기대한다.”고 전했다.
