[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 4일 ㈜신화종합건설에서 동두천시청을 방문해 관내 취약계층을 위해 이웃돕기 성금 1,000만원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

신홍래 ㈜신화종합건설 대표는 “어려운 이웃들이 따뜻하게 겨울을 보내기를 바라면서 기부를 진행하게 됐다. 저희의 마음이 조금이나마 전달되면 좋겠다”고 전했다.

동두천시 관계자는 “최근 추워지는 날씨와 코로나19로 인해 모두가 힘든 시기임에도 불구하고 나눔을 실천해주셔서 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 나눔문화 활성화 및 복지사각지대 해소를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
