[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 18일 동두천시 중앙동 지역사회보장협의체는 건강취약 가정 방역을 실시하였다고 밝혔다.

이번 활동은 지역사회보장협의체와 ㈜씨앤에스 간 체결한 협약에 따라 진행되었고, 지난 2021년 8월초 주택 방역이 필요한 독거노인 3가구를 발굴 및 지원 대상으로 최종 선정함으로써 추진할 수 있었다고 했다.    

방역서비스를 받은 한 어르신은 “낡고 오래된 집에 여러 차례 찾아오시고 집 외부와 내부를 구석구석 꼼꼼하게 방역해 주셔서 이제는 벌레 걱정 없이 쾌적하게 지낼 수 있게 되었다”는 소감을 전했다. 

경규환 공동위원장은 “어르신들의 만족도가 높게 나타난 건강취약계층 방역서비스를 내년에도 운영함과 더불어 건강, 주거, 생활환경 등 주민들의 복지욕구를 반영한 다양한 특화사업을 발굴하겠다”고 말했다.
