[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 24일 동두천시 중앙동 지역사회보장협의체는 건강취약계층을 대상으로 방역 활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

지난 9월 24일 오후, 고령의 독거어르신 3가정에 순차적으로 방문, 주택 내부를 꼼꼼하게 소독하였고, 방역 서비스 제공에 따른 만족도와 생활 불편사항을 파악하며 특별한 시간을 보냈으며, 이번 활동은 지난 2021년 8월에 이어 두 번째로 진행되었고, 중앙동 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 발굴한 복지사각지대 가구의 쾌적한 주거환경 조성을 위해 전문 방역업체인 ㈜씨앤에스와 협력하여 추진하였다고 했다.

경규환 공동위원장은 “건축된 지 오래된 다세대주택이 많은 중앙동의 특성에 맞게 방역과 집수리 등의 지원이 필요한 소외계층을 찾아 특화사업을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
