[남상훈 기자 = 포천시] 지난 17일 포천시는 150여 명의 포천시 공무원이 교육에 참여한 가운데 ‘2022년 포천시 공무원 인구문제 인식개선교육’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

인구보건복지협회 인구교육 신소라 강사의 ‘나는 함께하는 가(家)’ 라는 주제의 교육은 저출산과 고령화에 따른 인구절벽 위기에 선제적으로 대응하고 인구감소로 인한 사회 문제 등을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다. 

시는 이날 교육을 통해 저출산·고령화 문제 개념과 중요성, 결혼·출산·양육에 대한 긍정적인 인식개선, 포천시 인구문제와 발전 발향 등을 대해 논의했다.

백영현 포천시장은 “이번 교육이 포천시 공직자들이 인구문제에 대한 인식개선의 초석을 다지는 시간이었길 바란다. 근본적이고 종합적인 접근으로 포천시의 특수성이 반영된 인구정책을 발굴 및 추진해 포천시민의 삶의 질을 높여 나가는데 최선을 다하길 바란다”고 당부했다.
