[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 15일 동두천시는 아기새둥지, 저출산·고령화정책위원회에서 동두천시청을 방문하여 항균장갑 20만장을 기부했다고 밝혔다. 

아기새둥지, 저출산·고령화정책위원회는 저출산·고령화·양극화 3대 위기 극복을 위하여 노력하는 비영리 민간단체로, 초저출산 극복을 위해 희망콘서트, 교육 및 간담회 등을 추진할 계획이라고 했다.

황덕래 경기도 협회장은 “현재, 저출산·고령화·양극화 문제가 심각하다. 이를 극복하기 위해서는 많은 관심과 노력이 필요하다”며 “기부 물품은 동두천시 관내 취약계층을 위해 필요한 곳에 사용되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
