[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 10월14일부터 16일까지 고성군은 2022 대한민국 온천 대축제가 ‘힐링칠링 고성온천’이라는 주제로 강원도 고성군 원암, 인흥 온천 일원에서 열린다고 밝혔다.

대한민국 온천대축제는 국내 온천에 대한 국민의 관심 촉진과 온천관광산업 육성을 위해 마련됐으며 지난 2007년 울진에서 시작되어 올해 14회째를 맞이하는 이번 행사는 코로나19로 인해 3년 만에 개최된다. 

세계적인 산악가 엄홍길 대장과 안택원 박사와 함께하는 건강 온천 지식 콘서트와 온천수를 활용한 2022개 달걀 삶기 퍼포먼스, 고성군 특산품 플리마켓 한마당, 박강성, 이치현, 여행스케치, 은가은, 트로트 신동 박성온 군과 함께하는 힐링칠링 온천 음악회 등  이번 온천대축제에는 개막행사, 무대행사, 참여행사, 전시행사로 다양한 볼거리를 제공한다. 

함명준 고성군수는 “이번 온천대축제가 온천에 대한 관심 제고와 이용 활성화로 이어지고 온천을 통해 쉼과 치유를 얻게 되는 계기가 되기를 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
