[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 지난 4일 312차 안전점검의 날을 맞아 경포해변 중앙광장 일원에서 여름철 안전사고 예방 및 안전문화 확산을 위한 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 안전점검의 날 행사에는 강릉시와 강릉경찰서, 강릉소방서, 안전보건공단, 강릉자율방재단, (사)강원안전생활실천시민연합회 등 유관기관 단체 30여명이 참여했으며, 강릉시민과 관광객들을 대상으로 방역수칙준수 안내와 더불어 여름철 사고 예방을 위한 물놀이 안전수칙 리플렛 및 가정용 안전점검표를 배부했다.

또한, 물놀이 사고에 대비하여 언제 어디서든 안전취약요인을 신고할 수 있도록 안전신문고 어플과 웹사이트를 홍보하여 여름철 물놀이 피해를 줄이기 위한 캠페인을 실시했다.

강릉시 관계자는 “안전사고 예방을 위해 정책홍보 및 캠페인을 지속적으로 실시하여 시민들과 관광객들이 안심하고 방문할 수 있는 강릉시 만들기에 총력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
