[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 국민의힘 경기도당 공천관리위원회는 4월 22일 전체 회의를 개최해 기초단체장 경선지역 및 경선후보자 등을 일부 확정했다고 밝혔다.

1차 통과한 가평군수 예비후보로 박창석 전 경기도의원, 서태원 전 가평군청 미래발전국장, 신현배 전 가평군의원, 양희석 전 국무총리실 국회협력행정관, 오구환 전 가평군 농협 조합장 등 5명이다.

포천시장 예비후보는 김창균 국민의힘 중앙위원회 산업자원분과 부위원장, 박창수 전 국민의힘 중앙선거대책 국민소통본부 포천시 본부장, 백영현 전 포천시 소흘읍장, 이원석 사단법인 국가원로회의 정책자문위원, 이중효 국민의힘 경기도당 부위원장 등 5명이다.

양주시장 예비후보는 강수현 경기도당 부위원장, 원대식 전 양주시의회 의장, 이흥규 경기정책 연구원장 등 3명이다.

동두천시장 예비후보는 박형덕 전 경기도의회 의원, 정계숙 동두천시회 의원, 홍석우 전 경기도의회 의원 등 3명이다.

의정부시 예비후보는 구구회 의정부시의회 부의장, 김동근 경기도 행정2부지사, 임호석 의정부시의회 국민의힘 대표의원 등 3명이다.

이에 오는 23일부터 24일까지 경선후보자 대상 여론조사 방식을 결정한 뒤 여론조사를 거쳐 4월 말 최종 후보를 결정할 방침이다.
