이날 캠페인은 아동학대 예방의 날 및 예방 주간을 맞아 모든 아동은 존중받아야 할 인격체로 어떠한 경우에도 체벌은 안 된다는 아동학대 예방 메시지를 담아 진행했다고 했다.

더불어 어린이집 보육교직원의 아동 권리존중 보육으로 아이들의 행동을 이해하고, 무시·비난·조롱·차별 등 부정적인 지도의 요소들 또한 아동학대의 예외가 아님을 홍보하기 위한 활동으로 배너와 현수막 설치 및 리플릿과 홍보 물품 KF94 마스크 배부 등 많은 시민들이 어린이집 아동학대 예방에 대한 관심을 가질 수 있도록 유도했다고 전했다.

정효경 보육과장은 “이번 어린이집 아동학대 예방 캠페인을 통해 많은 아이들이 더욱 안전하고 행복하게 성장할 수 있도록 하는 작은 발판이 되었기를 조심스럽게 소망해본다”고 말했다.
