[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 21일, 동두천시 어린이급식관리지원센터에서는 어린이에게 안전하고 건강한 급식 제공을 위한 급식환경 조성을 위해 관내 어린이 급식소 조리원을 대상으로 위생·안전교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 코로나19 감염병 예방을 위한 관련 방역수칙을 준수하며 신한대학교 동두천캠퍼스 별관에 마련된 ‘아롱별클린하우스’ 교육장에서 소규모로 진행되었으며, 체험형 교육을 통해 조리원의 위생·안전 지식을 향상시키고, 특히‘식품의 표시사항 관리’, ‘유통기한 관리’, ‘표시사항에 따른 식품 보관방법 관리’ 등 3가지를 중점적으로 교육하였고, 또한 앞으로도 관내 어린이 급식소 조리원을 대상으로 5, 6, 9, 10월에 교육을 진행할 예정이라고 전했다.

안선정 센터장(신한대학교 식품조리과학부 교수)은 “올해 교육에서는 작년 개선필요 항목과 올해 추가 중점항목을 교육하여 어린이 급식소에서 어린이에게 안전하고 건강한 급식을 제공할 수 있도록 하는데 큰 도움이 되도록 하겠다”라고 전했다.
