[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 24일 오전 11시, 접경지역시장군수협의회는 경기도와 강원도, 인천시의 접경지역 10개 시·군 단체장 및 부단체장들이 참석하는 가운데 철원군 국제두루미센터에서 '2022년 상반기 정기회의'를 갖는다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의에서는 협의회가 추진하는 용역에 대한 착수 보고, 지난해 주요 안건에 대한 추진상황 보고, 올해 상반기 정기회의 안건 등에 대한 협의가 이뤄질 예정이라고 했다.

착수 보고가 예정된 용역은 접경지역·DMZ 특별연합 구성을 위한 기본계획 수립 및 법·제도 정비 용역과 접경지역·DMZ 탄소중립 추진전략 수립 용역 등이며, 지난해 협의회에서 심의해 의결된 안건 가운데 ‘접경지역 시·군 문화관광시설 상호 이용료 감면’ 안건은 지금까지 6개 시·군이 조례 개정을 완료했고, 3개 시·군은 조례를 시행할 예정이라고 전했다.
