[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8일 성경원 미소드림봉사단은 관내 저소득 재가노인 식사배달사업 대상자 23명에게 밑반찬을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회원들은 어르신 23명의 가정에 방문하여 밑반찬을 전달하며 안부를 살폈으며, 성경원 미소드림봉사단은 소요동과 ‘복지사각지대 발굴 및 이웃돕기 물품 배송 지원’ MOU를 맺고, 매월 격주마다 재가어르신 식사배달사업으로 노인복지관에서 제공하는 도시락을 재가노인의 가정에 배달하고 있다고 했다. 

성경원 미소드림봉사단 이진숙 단장은 “어려운 이웃들을 위해 도움을 줄 수 있어 보람되며, 앞으로도 주변에 더욱 관심을 갖고 관심과 사랑을 베풀고 봉사활동에 적극 참여할 것이다”라고 전했다.

김기덕 소요동장은 “꾸준하게 지역사회 문제에 관심을 갖고 봉사하시는 성경원 미소드림봉사단 이진숙 단장에 감사드리며, 소요동 행정복지센터도 복지사각지대에 놓인 소외계층이 없게 다각도로 노력할 것이다”라고 말했다.
