[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 평창군은 2021년에 이어 2년 연속 농림축산식품부 ‘2022년 농식품바우처 시범사업’ 공모에 최종 선정되어 4억 5천 6백만 원의 사업비를 확보했다고 밝혔다.

농식품바우처 시범사업은 취약계층의 식품 접근성 강화 및 영양 보충 지원을 위한 바우처를 제공하는 사업으로, 전국 지자체 대상 15개소를 선정하였으며 강원도에서는 평창군이 유일하다고 했다.

농식품바우처 시범사업은 취약계층 1,300여 가구를 대상으로 작년과 동일하게 매월 1인 가구 4만원, 2인 가구 5만7000원, 3인 가구 6만9000원 등 가구원 수에 따라 차등 지원하며, 신선식품을 구매할 수 있는 전자카드 형태의 바우처를 오는 3월부터 9월까지 7개월 간 지원한다고 전했다.

지난해 기존 사업 신청자는 별도의 추가 신청 없이 기존에 발급받은 카드를 사용하게 되며, 신규 사업 대상자는 오는 3월 2일부터 주소지 읍·면사무소를 방문해 신청하고 발급받은 바우처 카드로 관내 농·축협 하나로마트, 로컬푸드 직매장에서 신선식품을 구매할 수 있고, 또한, 교통약자 및 거동이 불편한 고령자 등 바우처 카드 직접 사용이 어려운 대상자를 위해 재단법인 평창푸드통합지원센터, 관내 농축협하나로마트와 협력하여 로컬푸드 농산물 꾸러미를 매월(1회) 각 가정으로 직접 배송하는 방식도 병행 추진된다고 했다.

군은 원활한 사업 추진을 위해 지역협의체를 구성·운영할 계획이며, 현수막 설치와 홍보물 배부 등의 홍보와 함께 공무원들의 사업 이해도 및 업무 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 사업 전반에 대해 읍·면담당자 교육을 진행할 계획이라고 전했다.
