[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 12월 29일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 캠코양재타워(서울 도곡동 소재)에서 ｢2021년 국유재산 개발‧활용 아이디어 공모전｣ 시상식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모전은 캠코가 관리 중인 유휴 국유재산 30건(토지 20필지, 건물 10건)등에 대한 활용 방안으로, 국민 생활편의 제고와 일자리 창출 등을 위한 참신한 국민 아이디어와 지방자치단체 접점 협력사업을 발굴하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

일반국민, 지자체 공무원 부문으로 나뉘어 두 달 동안(’21.9.15∼’21.11.19) 진행된 이번 공모전에는 총 128건의 아이디어가 제출됐다고 했다.

캠코는 ‘공모주제 적합성’과 ’아이디어 혁신성‘ 등을 기준으로 실무자 및 외부 전문가 심사를 거쳐 우수 아이디어 13건(일반국민 10건, 지자체 공무원 3건)을 선정하고, ‘캠코 사장상’과 함께 총상금 2,450만원을 전달했다고 전했다.

일반국민 부문에서는 청년 임대주택과 창업공간을 복합 개발해 활용하는 ‘공공 컴팩트시티 모델’이 대상을 차지했으며, 도시청년 공간 공유 아이디어와, 방과 후 아동을 위한 ‘어린이 책 등대 프로젝트’가 최우수상으로 선정됐다고 했다. 

지자체 공무원 부문에서는 옛 철도 정차구역을 주민들 편의시설로 개발하는 철도 역사 ‘포켓광장’ 활용 아이디어와 한부모가정 공동생활 공간 ‘다부자집’이 각각 최우수상과 우수상으로 선정됐다고 했다. 

신흥식 캠코 사장대행은 “국유재산의 주인은 국민”이라며, “캠코는 이번 공모전에서 발굴한 소중한 아이디어를 생활 SOC 등 국유재산 개발에 활용해, 국민편익을 증진하고 일자리 창출 등 경제활력 제고에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다. 

캠코는 기획재정부로부터 국유 일반재산 관리ㆍ처분 업무를 위탁받아 전국 약 72만 필지를 전담 관리하면서 매년 1조원 이상을 국고에 납입하는 등 국가 재정수입 증대에 기여하고 있으며, 유휴 행정재산 발굴ㆍ활용과 국유재산 가치 제고에 기여하고 있다고 전했다.
