[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11월 20일 오후 5시 양주시는 경기섬유종합지원센터 대강당에서 제9회 시립교향악단 정기연주회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 정기연주회는 장기화된 고강도 방역조치를 인내해 온 시민들의 마음을 위로할 수준 높은 문화공연을 제공하고 지역 문화예술의 저변 확대를 위해 마련했다고 전했다.

양주시립교향악단 객원지휘자 심재선이 지휘하는 양주시립교향악단은 로시니의 ‘세미라미데 서곡’을 시작으로 러시아 낭만주의 교향곡의 최대 걸작으로 꼽히는 라흐마니노프 교향곡 2번 전악장을 연주하고, 이어 한국 음악계를 이끌어 갈 차세대 연주자 1인으로 주목받는 첼로리스트 최아현이 출연해 오케스트라 선율에 맞춰 드보르작의 첼로협주곡을 선보일 예정이라고 했다.

다양하고 깊이있는 음악해석을 추구하는 심재선 지휘자와 지역의 실력있는 음악인이 전하는 클래식 전율은 깊어가는 가을밤의 운치를 즐기기에 충분할 것으로 기대된다고 했다.
