[서종협 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 민선8기의 동해시 지역사회보장정책 방향 설정을 위한 제5기지역사회보장계획(2023년~2026년)에 대한 최종보고회를 오는 13일 개최한다.

이날 보고회는 지역사회보장협의체, 계획수립 TF팀, 복지분야 관계자, 공무원 등 40여 명이 참여한 가운데,‘시민 중심의 행복도시 복지동해 실현’을 비전으로 10대 전략목표에 따른 52개의 세부사업 등을 보고받게 된다.

시민의 삶의 질과 관련된 건강, 문화, 교육 등 사회전반에 걸쳐 있는   지역사회보장 계획은 이번 제5기의 경우, 2022년부터 2026년까지 4년에 대하여 복지영역 확대와 정부의 보편사업을 보완할 자체사업을 중심으로 시민 의견수렴 사항, 민선8기 공약사업 등을 포함하여 수립됐다.

시는 이날 보고회에서 토론을 거쳐 제시된 의견과 질의응답을 수렴  하여 검토 후 동해시지역사회보장협의체 심의를 거쳐 내달 강원도에 최종계획을 제출할 예정이다.

권순찬 복지과장은“이번에 수립한 제5기 지역사회보장계획이 민관협력을 통해 계획된 만큼 세부사업이 내실있게 수립·추진되어 시민의  복지 여건이 개선 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

In the case of the fifth term, the local social security plan, which spans the whole society, such as health, culture, and education related to the quality of life of citizens, expands the welfare area for 4 years from 2022 to 2026 and supplements the government's general projects. It was established, focusing on its own projects, including the collection of citizens' opinions and the promise of the 8th popular election.

The city plans to submit the final plan to Gangwon-do next month after deliberation by the Donghae City Community Security Council after collecting opinions and Q&A presented through discussion at the report meeting.

Kwon Soon-chan, head of the welfare department, said, “As the 5th local social security plan established this time was planned through public-private cooperation, detailed projects will be established and promoted in a substantial way so that the welfare conditions of citizens can be improved.”
