[서종협 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시(시장 심규언) 오는 17일 ~18일까지 이틀간 동해체육관 일원에서  제3회 '평생학습 愛, 책문화 축제'가 펼쳐진다고 밝혔다.

올해로 세 번째 축째는 ‘평생학습 愛, 독서로 세상을 리딩하라!’라는 주제로 운영되며, 평생학습기관과 단체, 평생학습동아리는 물론 남녀노소 전 세대가 다양한 평생학습 프로그램을 체험하고 평생학습 정보를 상호 공유하는 축제가 될 예정이다.

이번 평생학습 축제의 주요 테마는 공감愛 흠뻑, 소통愛 흠뻑, 공연愛 흠뻑, 감성愛 흠뻑으로 구성됐으며 홍보체험부스 운영, 학습동아리 학습발표와 작품전시회, 작가초청 북콘서트, 어린놀이터, 성인문해 한마당잔치 '청춘공감'등 다양한 행사가 진행되며 그밖에 포토존, 먹거리 타운(푸드트럭), 책 쉼터, 에듀버스, 캐치프래이즈 보물찾기 등도 운영해 관람객들의 편의와 볼거리를 제공한다.

전춘미 평생교육센터소장은 “이번 평생학습 축제는 체험프로그램을 비롯하여 인문학 강연과 성인문해 한마당잔치 행사를 통해 시민이 행복한 평생학습 문화가 확산될 수 있는 체험 및 전시 위주의 행사가 진행될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 시에서는 평생학습이 시민의 삶의 일부로 스며들 수 있도록 지속적으로 행사를 추진할 것이다”고 말했다.
