[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 25일 오후 7시, 횡성문화원은 코로나19로 지친 마음에 위로를 전하고, 횡성군민들에게 다양하고 수준 높은 문화예술행사를 선사하여 군민들의 행복한 삶의 질을 제고하고자 횡성문화예술회관 대공연장에서 '횡성군민오케스트라 제1회 정기연주회'를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

횡성군민오케스트라는 횡성문화원 소속으로 횡성군민이 만들고, 군민이 키우고, 군민들이 듣고 싶은 음악을 연주한다는 취지로 지난 2021년 11월 12일 창단되었으며, 이번 공연을 통해 횡성군민들에게 코로나19 극복의 희망을 전하는 연주를 선보인다고 했다.

횡성군민오케스트라 음악감독 이택성 지휘자가 지휘봉을 잡은 이번 공연은 R.스트라우스 '차라투스트라는 이렇게 말했다', 헝가리 랩소디 제2번, 영화 ‘미녀와 야수’ 테마, 쇼스타코비치 재즈 모음곡 2번 왈츠 등 14곡의 프로그램으로 꾸며지며, 해금 연주자 ‘마혜령’과 테너 ‘오정환’, 소프라노 ‘한아름’의 협연 등 풍성한 공연을 선보일 예정이라고 전했다.
