[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 횡성문화원은 상대적으로 문화혜택이 적은 농촌지역 여성들에게 다양한 문화향유의 기회를 제공하여 여성이 살기 좋은 행복한 여성친화도시 횡성을 조성하기 위해 지난 2021년도에 이어 '2022년 횡성여성 작은영화관 무료관람 지원사업'을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

횡성여성 작은영화관 무료관람 지원사업은 횡성군의 횡성여성 문화의 날 사업의 일부로서, 매주 마지막 수요일 횡성에 주소를 두고 있는 여성주민들이 무료로 영화를 관람할 수 있는 사업이며, 지난 2021년도에는 2월부터 10월까지 총 9회를 진행하여 관내 여성주민 1,522명이 무료관람의 혜택을 누렸다고 전했다.

박순업 문화원장은 “횡성여성 작은영화관 무료관람 지원사업을 통해 코로나19 상황에 지친 여성주민들에게 잊고 지냈던 일상을 잠시나마 즐길 수 있는 시간을 마련하고, 영화관 무료 관람 기회 제공으로 인한 여성의 권익 증진 계기를 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
