[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 2월 20일까지, 홍천군 무궁화장학회는 향토인재 육성을 위한 2022년도 무궁화장학생을 선발한다고 밝혔다.

선발 대상은 고등학생, 대학생(신입생·재학생), 예·체·기능 특기생, 고시합격자로지원 자격은 선발공고일 현재 부모 중 1명 이상 또는 자녀가 홍천군에 주소를 두고 5년 이상 연속해 거주하며 각 대상별 자격기준을 충족한 자이라고 했다.

최종 선발인원은 홍천군무궁화장학회 운영위원회 심의를 거쳐 결정하며, 오는 3월 중 장학금을 수여할 예정이고, 장학금은 상·하반기로 나누어 지급되며, 장학금 종류 및 대상에 따라 다음과 같이 지급된다고 전했다. 

'우수학생 장학금(고등학생 100만원, 대학생 300만원)', '예·체·기능 특기 장학금(고등학생 100만원, 대학생 300만원)', '5급 공무원·외교관 장학금(대학교 재학생 1회 300만원)', '대학 신입생 장학금(100만원)'이라고 했다. 

홍천군 무궁화장학금은 학업을 장려하기 위한 생활비 성격으로 국가장학금과 중복지급이 가능하며, 대상별 자격 기준 및 신청서 교부는 홍천군청 홈페이지에서 확인하면 되고, 기타 궁금한 사항은 행정과 서무담당으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.
