[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1일 7일 안병용 의정부시장은 용현산업단지 기업인협의회 전·현임회장과의 만남을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 용현산업단지 기업인협의회 제7대 회장 선임 축하와 5·6대 회장으로 재임한 전임회장의 그동안 노고를 치하하고 감사패를 전달하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

용현산업단지 기업인협의회는 코로나19가 창궐했던 지난해에 마스크를 비롯해 체온계, 손세정제 등을 연이어 기부했고, 저소득주민을 위한 기부물품과 성금을 제공하는 등 기업기부문화를 선도해 장기화되고 있는 코로나19를 이겨내는 큰 힘이 되고 있다고 전했다.

2021년 12월 31일 자로 협의회 회장을 퇴임한 노시정 회장은 지난 임기 4년간 소통과 화합을 바탕으로 의정부시 기업성장과 지역경제발전을 위해 부단히 노력한 점을 높이 치하하여 감사패를 수여받았다고 했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “국가적 재난상황으로 모두가 힘든 시기에 따뜻한 마음을 전달해 주신 용현산업단지 기업인협의회에 깊이 감사드리며, 의정부에 유일한 용현산업단지 입주 기업들이 생산활동에 열중할 수 있도록 시가 적극 지원하도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
