[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 5일 포천석재협동조합은 지역 내 저소득 취약계층의 겨울철 난방비 부담을 덜어주기 위해 사랑의 이웃돕기 성금 2천만 원을 기부했다고 밝혔다. 

포천석재협동조합은 7개의 채석업체 ‘동아석재산업, 일신석재, 신라석건, 삼중석재, 삼우석재, 태형물산, 포천석산 등’로 구성된 조합이라고 했다.

김인섭 이사장은 “코로나19로 소득이 감소하고 겨울에 난방비로 부담이 될 이웃에 도움이 되었으면 좋겠다.”라고 기탁 이유을 밝혔다.

박윤국 시장은 “소외된 이웃에게 큰 힘이 될 것이며 지원해주셔서 감사하다. 포천시도 취약계층이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다.”라고 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
