지원대상은 설치 후 10년 이상 사용한 가정용 보일러를 저녹스 보일러로 설치·교체하는 포천시민으로 10만 원, 저소득층은 60만 원을 지원받을 수 있으며, 신청은 보일러 설치 교체를 원하는 주민이 공급자와 구매계약을 맺고 공급자가 구비서류를 갖춰 친환경정책과로 방문 또는 등기우편으로 신청접수하면 순서대로 확정하여 지원받을 수 있다고 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “2018년 40대를 시작으로 2021년까지 2,730대를 보급완료 했다. 가정용 저녹스 보일러 설치를 확대하여 생활 속 미세먼지를 저감하는 동시에 에너지절약과 난방비를 절감해 탄소중립을 실천하고 있다.”라고 말했다.
