[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일, 설악면 펜션협회는 설악면 행정복지센터를 찾아 이웃돕기 성금 100만원을 전달하였다고 밝혔다.

설악면 펜션협회는 2018년도에 설립되었고 설악면에 있는 펜션 대표 100여명이 회원으로 소속되어 있으며 지난 2019년도에 임원진 9명이 이웃돕기 성금으로 110만원을 기탁한 바 있고, 이번에 기탁한 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회를 거쳐 설악면 복지취약계층을 위해 사용될 예정이라고 했다.

하명윤 회장은 “설악면의 어려운 분들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바라는 마음으로 펜션협회 이사진와 임원진, 소속 회원들과 함께 성금을 준비했다. 지역사회 이웃사랑과 나눔 문화를 실천하기 위해 앞으로도 노력할 것이다.”고 밝혔다.

이범주 설악면장은 “코로나 19에 따른 경기침체로 모두가 지치고 힘든 상황에서 솔선수범해 이웃사랑을 실천해 주셔서 감사드리며, 기탁된 성금은 지역 내 보이지 않는 어려운 이웃을 찾아 소중하고 가치 있게 사용하겠다.”고 전했다.
