이에, 가평소방서는 초기진화 보상으로 분말소화기 및 가평소방서장 표창장을 관계자 A 씨에게 전달했다고 전했다.  

구본현 가평소방서장은 “화재 초기 시 소화기의 위력은 소방차 1대의 위력을 가지고 있다. 화재가 많은 겨울, 주택용 소방시설을 구비하여 화재 발생 시 골든타임을 사수하고 나의 가족, 이웃의 안전을 지키길 당부드린다.”라고 말했다.
