[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부] 20일 가평소방서 서장 구본현은 소방차 길 터주기의 국민적 공감대 형성을 위한 4월 `소방차 길 터주기` 국민 참여훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 훈련은 경찰순찰자 및 군청단속차량의 공조로 이루어진 훈련으로써 국민들에게 재난상황의 골든타임 개념 및 소방출동차량 양보의식을 고취시키기 위한 행사로 소방차 길 터주기 국민 참여훈련으로 시작해 소방차 진입 장애 구간에서의 소방통로 확보 훈련, 소화전 주변 등 「도로교통법」에 따른 불법 주·정차 집중 단속 등으로 이뤄졌다고 했다.

훈련 구간은 가평소방서에서 출발하여 가평 잣고을 전통시장을 지나 명보주유소기점으로 돌아 가평역에서 다시 소방서로 돌아오는 구간이라고 전했다.

구본현 가평소방서장은“긴급차량 통행시 우측 가장자리에 일시 정지 또는 양보운전을 통해 생명을 살리는 긴급차량이 신속히 이동할 수 있도록 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
