[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 27일 동두천시는 세외수입 체납액 일소를 위해 각과 담당팀장을 대상으로 자유토론 형식의 브레인스토밍 데이를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의는 각 과에서 부과된 체납분 세외수입에 대하여 체납 비중이 높은 4개과 담당팀장을 대상으로 상생·협업을 통한 체납된 세외수입의 징수를 위하여 마련됐다고 했다.

2022년을 시작하는 시점에서 코로나19 등으로 지방세입 징수가 목표수치 대비 감소가 예상되는 바 지방세입 징수에 누수가 생기지 않도록 방지차원에서 보고회를 가졌다고 전했다. 

한옥석 세무과장은 “효율적인 체납액 관리를 통한 징수율 제고로 자주재원 확충에 기여해 줄 것”과 “당해 연도에 부과된 지방세입은 당해 연도에 징수하며, 과태료 발생시 책임의식을 갖고 바로 납부하는 납부의식 개선방안 마련 등 체납액 징수에 대한 최선의 노력을 다하여 줄 것”을 당부했다.
