[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 조세정의 실현 및 지방재정의 안정적인 확보를 위해 5월 16일부터 7주간 '2022년 상반기 지방세 체납액 일제정리'기간으로 지정하여 집중적인 체납징수활동을 벌인다고 전했다.

지난 4월말 현재 지방세 총 체납액은 5,812백만원으로 가평군민을 위한 복지증진 사업 운영에 어려움이 예상되고 성실납세자와의 형평성을 저해하는 요인으로 작용되고 있다고 했다.

집중운영기간동안 체납 처분 시 발생할 수 있는 민원발생을 최소화하고자 자진납부기간을 2주간(2022. 5. 16 ~ 5. 30) 운영한 후 정당한 사유 없이 납세를 기피하는 체납자에 대하여는 은닉재산을 조사하여 재산압류를 실시하고, 관허사업제한, 체납차량 번호판영치, 압류재산 공매처분, 체납자 명단공개, 출국금지, 가택수색 및 동산압류 등 강력한 체납처분을 실시하게 된다고 했다. 

다만, 코로나19 어려움을 호소하는 일시적 또는 생계형 체납자는 담세력 회복 지원을 위해한 분납유도와 강제집행을 유예하는 등 서민생활 안정에도 힘쓸 계획이라고 밝혔다.
