[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군이 주민참여예산 역량강화 교육을 통해 지역 실정에 맞는 계획형 참여예산사업을 발굴했다고 밝혔다.

발굴된 ‘홍천초등학교 주변 환경개선’ 등 50여건의 사업은 담당부서를 통해 오는 2023년 본예산 편성 가능성 및 사업 타당성 검토를 진행할 계획이며, 읍·면 계획형 참여예산사업은 주민참여예산 제안사업 공모분야 중 읍·면별 참여예산기구인 지역회의의 주도적 사업 발굴과 숙의 과정을 거친 사업이라고 했다.

홍천군은 올해 처음 시도하는 읍·면 계획형 참여예산사업의 발굴을 위해 지난 3월 10일부터 16일까지 10개 읍·면 행정복지센터를 순회하며, 160여명의 지역회의 위원을 대상으로 제1차 지역회의 역량강화 교육을 진행했고, 이후에는 지난 3월 23일부터 30일까지 제2차 역량강화 교육을 실시했으며, 지역회의에서 결정된 읍·면별 계획형 참여예산 숙의대상 사업의 구체화 및 작성을 위한 컨설팅을 진행했다고 전했다.

김완수 기획감사담당관은 “교육을 통해 제안된 계획형 참여예산사업들이 예산편성으로 이어질 수 있도록 관련 부서와 긴밀히 협력해 좋은 결실을 맺도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
