[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 20일 양주시는 2021년 주민참여예산 제안사업을 확정하기 위해 예산참여시민위원회 총회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 총회는 주민참여예산 운영 경과보고, 2022년 사업 선정 결과 발표 등으로 진행됐으며, 총회에서는 지난 3월 주민참여예산 시민제안 사업공모를 통해 접수한 제안사업 76건 중 30건 1,079백만원을 최종 선정했다고 전했다.

앞서 위원회는 지난 9월 8일 예산참여시민위원회 분과회의를 열고 사업공모를 통해 접수된 총 76건의 주민 제안사업을 자치주민분과 37건 2,865백만원, 지역도시분과 39건 1,761백만원으로 분과별로 나눠 각 사업의 타당성, 경제성 등을 검토한 바 있다고 했다.

이번에 선정된 사업은 2022년 양주시 본예산안에 반영되며 시의회 심의를 통해 오는 12월 최종 확정 시 예산편성을 거쳐 추진될 예정이라고 밝혔다.
