[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 5월 12일 가평군 지역사회보장협의체 유근웅 대표위원장은 조종면을 방문하여 새로 부임한 권택순 조종면장과 조종면 협의체 김호명 위원장과 만남을 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

이날 간담회에서는 코로나로 인해 복지위기가구가 증가하고 있는 가운데 지역사회 보호체계구축과 특화사업 활성화 방안 및 군 지사협과 읍면 지사협 협업 방안에 대하여 논의하였다고 했다.

조종면 지역사회보장협의체에서는 올해 ‘사-발 데이’사업추진으로 카카오톡을 활용한 복지사각지대 발굴에 힘쓰고 있으며 결식이 우려되는 노인·장애인 가구에 협의체 위원이 2인 1조 매주 수요일 밑반찬을 전달하면서 대상자의 건강 확인과 안부를 전하고 있다고 말했다. 

군 지역사회보장협의체 유근웅 대표협의체 위원장은 코로나19로 대면활동이 어려운 가운데 협의체 활동에 적극적으로 참여해주시는 김호명 위원장과 위원들의 노고에 진심으로 감사드린다고 인사를 전했다. 

이에 조종면장도 공직생활 첫 면장으로 조종면에 부임하여 지역사회보장협의체가 다방면에서 활발한 활동을 전개하는 것에 대한 놀라움과 감사를 전하며 앞으로 협의체가 조종면 지역안전망으로써 자리매김 할 수 있도록 행정지원을 아끼지 않겠다고 말했다.

김호명 위원장 또한 조종면장님과 함께 조종면 지역사회보장협의체 활성화를 통한 지역복지 발전을 위해 더욱더 노력하겠다고 말했다.
