[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 강원도 주관 「2022년 지방세외수입 우수사례 발표대회」에서 우수상을 수상했다.

지방세외수입의 효율적 징수관리를 위해 개최된 이번 대회에서 <신규수입원 발굴, 체납징수 관리강화, 세외수입 운영혁신> 3가지 분야 중 <체납징수 관리강화> 분야에서 ‘신속한 분양권 압류를 통한 세외수입 체납액 징수’라는 주제로 사례를 발표했다.

분양권 계약 등 납부 능력이 있음에도 납세를 회피하는 체납자의 분양권을 압류하여 납세 정의 구현 및 시 세입 증대에 크게 기여한 사례를 제시했다.

이번 발표대회는 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 서면평가 방식으로 진행했으며, 선정된 우수사례는 타 시‧군에 전파하고, 행안부에서 주관하는 우수사례 선정대회에 출품할 예정이다.

강릉시 관계자는 “세외수입 체납 징수를 위해 다양한 우수사례 및 징수기법을 지속적으로 발굴하여 징수율 제고 및 재정자립도 향상을 도모해 나갈 계획이다”고 밝혔다.
